Shawn and I went to the Milwaukee Brewers baseball game today. Megan may not have gone to the game, but she still wanted to cheer for the team! (It didn't work, they lost)

Tear Ducts

So Megan's right tear duct had always had a bunch of goop in it. I figured it was a clogged tear duct so I have been rubbing it so that the doctors wouldn't have to do anything. A few days before her 4 month doctor appointment, I noticed that her eye was looking a lot better. Ever since then, no goop. I think it is safe to say, she no longer has a clogged tear duct!

Projections done????

Megan had some proejctile spit up Monday morning before day care but she hasn't done it since then. But just to keep us on our toes, she has had plenty of diaper blow outs :-)

Oops she did it again

Poor Megan had more projectile spit up at daycare today so they called me to come pick her up. They said she couldn't come back until Monday and she had to have a doctor's note proving she was seen today. I picked Megan up and took her home. Shawn came home so I could go back to work and I fed her before I left. When I got to work, Shawn called to say she did it again. After Shawn cleaned up, he took her to the doctor who said it is just the reflux. There is a small chance she is getting a bug but they wouldn't treat it any differently. The doctor gave Shawn a note to take to daycare explaining the reflux. He also signed a form giving the doctor permission to call daycare. Hopefully I can stop having to leave work and run Megan to the doctor every time this happens.

Megan sets a record

So, Megan had projectile spit up 6 times today!
Daycare called around 5 to say she had done it 3 times and she did it again while we were on the phone. I didn't tell them that she had done it this morning. I took her to the doctor and they are not concerned at all. They said that I could give her a little cereal but I mentioned that I wanted to hold off on food until she was 6 months old. So the doctor said not to bother giving the cereal and just make sure that Megan is completely upright for 30 minutes after eating. Then poor Megan did it again before bed. Luckily it was before we bathed her.
We will see how she does tomorrow.

Play Time

Daycare said that now that Megan is 4 months, they can put her in their exersaucer. I wanted her to try it for the first time at home. Here she is in the exersaucer Grandma Char bought. I think she is still too little and needs more practice holding herself.

Megan hit the 4 month mark! When she was doing tummy time that night, she managed to roll herself onto her side. Eventually she rolled again on to her back. She rolled a few more times and we managed to get it on video. We haven't been able to get her to do it again since that night.

When Shawn and I were in Australia, we got a few baby things for my sister because we knew she was pregnant. My hope was that some day I would get the items back for my own children. Well, here is a onesie from Australia. It is 0-3 month so I figured Megan better wear it before she outgrows it.
