Feeding going well

Megan has gone through all of the stage 1 baby vegetables. We have also started the fuits. Megan had a little trouble the first 1-2 times she had apples but she may have just been tired. Now she has had apples and peaches. Tomorrow we start bananas. Megan has been hungry enough at lunch that she usually gets two stage 1 containers. There aren't very many stage 2 mixes where she has had all of the ingredients, but we sometimes give her those for lunch too. Megan loves to make a mess but at least she is enjoying the food. I can't wait to get through these items so we can give her finger food!

At our neighbor's garage sale, we got a cute Packers outfit for Megan. Some people thought putting Megan in the outfit was great. Others thought it was child abuse. You decide!

This is the bouncer seat our neighbor is letting us borrow. Now that she is finally big enough for it, Megan loves playing in it.

Megan is 6 months old today! She has a fever so daycare called around 1:00 and said she had to leave. Megan is also not allowed to go back tomorrow. I hope her fever goes away so she can go back on Friday. Because Megan was not eating, the doctor said they could fit me in to check her out. The doctor thought it was just a virus and said to give her Tylenol for the fever. I hope my baby feels better soon. At least she is still all smiles.

When Shawn took Megan to day care Tuesday morning, he had gone through some of the drawers in her room looking for shorts. Apparently we had put some clothes in the drawers and I had thought that all of her clothes were hanging up in the closet. Unfortunately they were 6 month clothes and they are already getting a little small. But we had her wear a few of them on her 6 month birthday for pictures.

We went to Portrait Innovations to have Megan's 6 months pictures done. The pictures turned out great. Here are just a few of my favorites. As you can see, the problem with the place is that they are almost too good. We couldn't decide which pictures to get so we bought way more than we could ever use. Not only did we spend a fortune, where can we possibly hang up all the pictures? We sent a bunch of them to family, but we still have a lot. Next time I am going to listen to my sister and only take 1-2 outfits with us!

We started food

Megan started food over the long weekend. Her first food was sweet potatoes. She did a great job. Here are a few pictures.

Friday was the first sign that it is getting close to fall. The temperature was only in the 60's so Megan had to wear a jacket!

Better Milk News

I was able to get production back up. The freezer is still not working though. We had a repairman come look at it. He said the warranty process could take awhile with all of the bureaucracy. But, he said that I could get a loaner freezer pretty cheap so now we have a giant freezer in our garage. Hopefully, no more milk crisis.
