First Word

Shawn and I agree that Megan's first word is "Mimmie" for Minnie Mouse. She has a little Minnie Mouse blanket that she loves. Every time she sees it Megan says Mimmie, Mimmie.

Of all the days to take her first unassisted steps, Megan chose my birthday! What a wonderful experience! (I found out she had walked earlier at daycare but I didn't find that out until after I saw her walk.)

Months 13-14 Pictures

Now that Megan moves around so much it is very hard to get good pictures of her. But that is no excuse for not updated the blog. Here are some pictures from when Megan was 13-14 months old

Sick little girl

Megan threw up sometime Friday night and when I cleaned up Saturday morning I was so grateful that it didn't hit the carpet or the wall. All that was needed was a load of laundry and a bath.

Tonight, I was not so lucky. Right when we got to the top of the stairs, Megan got sick all over both of us and the carpet. I ran her to the tub and set her in it and she just cried and cried and cried. After I bathed Megan, Shawn put her in her pajamas and she just cried some more. Eventually we got her down and she fell asleep.

Poor baby! I don't know what is wrong with her but I hope she feels better soon.

Thank goodness for Char who is able to come watch Megan tomorrow so both Shawn and I can go to work!

Some times when Shawn and I are eating we bite off a piece of our food and give it to Megan. So when Megan was snacking on cheerios today, she would bite her cheerio in half and then feed me the other half. To make it even cuter, as Megan fed me my half of the cheerio she opened her mouth wide to show me what I was suppose to do.

Sad but cute

Megan was very upset this morning but I had to get her picture in that cute outfit.

My first Photo

Megan took a picture of herself on my cell phone. I doubt she did it on purpose, but I think it is pretty good for her first picture.

Standing a little

Megan is starting to let go of her walking push toys and stand for a few seconds before grabbing the toy again. I keep trying to get a picture, but I have not been able to yet. It won't be long before she has enough confidence to stand for longer periods of time!
