Caitlin's Ear Checkup

We had an appointment for the doctor to look at Caitlin's ears and they still looked good.  I'm happy the ear infection is gone even if she didn't get the entire dose of medicine.

Also, Caitlin's weight is up a little bit.  She weighed 12 lb 15 oz.

Soo tired

I went out to dinner with some friends and when I came home, this is how I found Megan sleeping.  We had a hard time moving her to her bed because we were laughing so hard.

Someone was not excited to wear shorts but at least I got a picture in her cute Brewers shirt.

First tick

We went to the neighbors to play and one of the girls had a tick at the end of the night.  We decided to check everyone out when we got home and sure enough Megan had one.  She was on the floor screaming "get it off, get it off".  That thing was so stubborn, but if finally came off.  I kept telling Megan how brave she was and told her she could have ice cream once it was off.  It was probably a mistake to give her an ice cream sandwich because every time a crumb fell she thought there was another tick.

Caitlin's 4 Month Checkup and First Ear Infection

Caitlin has been sick all week and has had goopy eyes.  I figured it was a cold and I knew she had her checkup today so I didn't take her to the doctor.

Sure enough, ear infection in both ears!  I wasn't thinking ear infection because she never had a fever and has been acting happy.  But I guess I'm just lucky to have a happy baby!   Let's hope the amoxicillin works!  I hate when she is sick.

Height: 25'' (69.77%)

Weight: 12 lb 7 oz (14.18%)

Head : 40 cm (32.79%)

We are hoping her weight is low due to the ear infection and her not eating as well.  I will definitely ask to have her weighed again when her ears are checked in two weeks.
