Grandma and Grandpa sent Megan a little noisemaker from their annual trip to Cayman.

Megan's potty

A few people, including Megan's doctor, recommended we get a potty chair and leave it out so Megan could get used to seeing it. I had been looking everywhere for a Minnie Mouse chair but couldn't find one, not even online. Imagine my excitement when I walked into Walmart one day and found one on the shelf. I immediately purchased it! I took it out of the box and told Megan it is her potty. She isn't ready for potty training yet. But she does occassionally go over and sit on it. She also likes "flushing" it because it cheers.

Forward facing carseat

When we took Megan to Florida, Megan sat forward in the carseat. When we got home Megan had to go back to rear facing because we hadn't switched the car seat around yet. On Friday, I had a very hard time getting Megan in the car seat after daycare so I decided we really needed to turn the seats around. Shawn turned them around Saturday before swim class and so far Megan has been doing a good job. I took her shopping at Target today and as usual she didn't want to get back in the car. But we talked about being a big girl and facing forward and she agreed to sit down in the seat. We will see if she continues to cooperate.

Bye Minnie

Thursday after daycare Megan's teacher came over and said she needed to talk to me. From her tone I thought it was something serious. Turns out the teachers wanted to test not having Megan's minnie blanket at daycare. She throws it when she is suppose to be napping and then screams for it. The teachers have tried hiding it but every time they need to get something else from the hiding spot Megan has seen minnie and cried for her. We took minnie home on Thursday and Megan did a great job Friday without Minnie.

Birthday gift from Daddy

My daddy got me the best birthday gift. Since I went on an airplane for vacation, daddy surprised me with an airplane when we got back from Toledo. Usually mommy is the one who buys toys so it was such a great surprise that daddy got this. And I loved that he put so much thought into it.

Daddy's Aunt Irene and Uncle Bill gave me a hat for my birthday. It is fun to wear outside and inside!
