Last day in infant class

Today is Megan's last day in her infant classroom. Tomorrow she finally moves up to the toddler classroom. I have been waiting for this day since Megan started at Little Explorers. I'm so excited for her to be treated like a big girl. No more highchairs or cribs at daycare. It is table and chairs and sleeping bags from now on.

Puzzle pieces

Megan has a puzzle that has 8 animals and when you put them back in the puzzle they make the animal sound. Megan was carrying the pieces back and forth between the two couches. Most of the time carrying just one at a time. So she would move all 8 to one couch and then carry them one at a time to the other couch. When she finally tired of that, she sat down on the couch and did the same thing moving them from one spot on the couch to the other. It was fun so watch her do this and I can't believe it was entertaining enough to do for over 30 minutes!

Ear Infection Gone

Megan saw the dr today and her ears are all better!! I just hope that going out in the terrible rain storm doesn't get her sick.

Ear Infection

Megan didn't sleep very well last night and woke up briefly a few times crying. When she woke up this morning, she wasn't in a good mood. Afer I changed her diaper, we cuddled on the rocking chair for about 45 minutes. That is very unlike Megan-usually she wants to run around. I noticed that there was just a little bit of drainage from her ears and she was coughing. Later in the afternoon, Shawn pointed out that there was drainage crusted on her ear. So we took Megan to urgent care and she has an ear infection. This is her first since she got tubes in April. Hopefully the antibiotics will clear it up and she will be all better again soon!

My friend Ellen, her husband Kurt and their daughter Zelie moved to Texas. I was so sad to see them leave town. However, the farewell party was at a park so Megan had a great time.
