Mama and Daddy

I am pleased to report that Megan can finally say mama and daddy. At first Megan only said daddy in a whisper and only as repeating after one of us said it. But within the past few days she calls us by mama and daddy when she sees us. It is a great feeling!

18 Months Old!

The Packers play tonight so I had to show that I support them. Here are a few pictures of me on my 18 month birthday showing who my favorite football team is.

Daddy

Since before Megan said any words, we have been trying to get her to say mommy and/or daddy. Now that she says about two dozen words, we finally have her saying daddy or dada. The only catch is that she almost always says it in a whisper :-)

First day in toddler room

Megan started her first day in the toddler room today. Her room doesn't open until 8:15 so we started to drop her off in the other toddler room. As we were about to enter, they decided that drop off is going to be in the gym so the kids can run some of their energy off.

Breakfast was some raisin bread, peaches and milk. For lunch she had turkey, cheese, fruit cocktail, tater tots and milk. Megan finished the day having some of her pretzels and juice.

Megan's notes for her first day in the toddler room read:
"Megan did very well on her first day in the toddler room. She used play dough, danced to songs, and enjoyed interacting with another girl from the other toddler class. At first she was noisy in her sleeping bag but then she fell right asleep."

I'm excited she did so well. She napped for an hour and a half which is great for Megan!
