New Daycare

Megan started a new daycare yesterday called Little Explorers. I have been on the waiting list since early in my pregnancy. The only reason we even got in was that they built an addition with new infant and toddler rooms.

I have been pretty nervous since the Open House because I found out Megan would be an infant room. (At her old daycare she was in the toddler room.) I was afraid it would be a step backwards. The director assured me that it was an older infant room and that they would do everything possible to help her develop and grow.

Drop off was a little tough because Megan cried when we left her. This wasn't surprising since she often does that. She ended up doing great the rest of the day. Megan refused to take a nap because there were so many new, fun toys to play with. Hopefully she will adjust soon and start getting some rest time.

After we got home, I took Megan outside with her walker toy. She went all the way down to the end of the sidewalk. I was talking to my neighbor and Megan was almost ready to go into the street. She sure is getting fast at walking!

Ears look good

Megan had her checkup with the ENT yesterday. He said her ears looked great! She also had her hearing checked and was great there too. We have another follow-up visit in 6 months and hopefully everything will stay great!

Walking with help

I got an early Mother's Day gift from Megan! When I got home from work, Megan was walking while pushing her toy around. She is becoming an expert at walking while pushing a toy or holding my hands.

Megan can pull up to stand

Megan is officially able to pull herself up to stand. She has become an expert over the weekend. She can pull up on the couch, the gate, my shirt, everything. I'm so proud of her! It won't be long now until Megan is starting to walk.
