Megan was sent home from daycare on Wednesday with a fever. They said she hadn't been acting like herself. By the time I got there to pick her up, Megan was completely fine and her temperature was only around 99. She stayed home on Thursday and went back Friday since she wasn't warm and was acting fine. By 9:00 on Friday, we were called again because Megan had a fever. We picked her up and she was acting fine and wasn't warm. We suspected ear infection and took her to the doctor. Sure enough, her ear didn't look good. Unfortunately Megan didn't like the medicine so I really hope we can get her to take all of the doses.
Since Megan was acting fine, I took her around town with me running errands. By the time we were finishing up, Megan was saying she was tired and wanted a nap. She even fell asleep in the car. When we got home, Megan was very cranky. We took a nap together and when daddy woke us up, Megan felt very warm. Our thermometer isn't very good but it said her temp was 102 and she was so sad. We gave her some tylenol and within an hour she was feeling pretty good and even ate a little bit.
I hope she feels better soon!
