When Caitlin was born, Megan's center didn't have room for Caitlin so Caitlin went somewhere else. Even though Caitlin eventually moved to Megan's center, I decided to move them both to Caitlin's old center.
Yesterday Monday was supposed to be their first day but Caitlin was sick and it was freezing cold so I kept both girls home. Although Caitlin was still home sick today, Megan was able to start her new school today.
Shortly before they started I received an e-mail from the director that she was leaving to stay home with her son. I liked her a lot so it made me nervous to have a director I didn't know on Megan's first day. The old one knew that I was nervous and had worked on some ideas with me how to help Megan.
I was so excited when I arrived today to find out that today was her last day instead of last Friday like I had thought.
I stayed with Megan for over an hour and then I left to drop off forms in the office. By the time I left the office I could see Megan jumping up and down and playing with another girl. That made me feel better.
Around 2:00 I got a phone call from Megan. She was calling to tell me that she was having fun.
When I picked her up, everyone said she had done great. Megan even did better than they had expected.
I'm so proud of Megan and how she did at her new school. I'm excited for Caitlin to start too once she feels better!
